My husband is 6’1 and normally wears a size medium. These were a size 32 waist and fit perfectly. The 9” inseam was a good fit and length above the knee was a good fit. My husband tried on these 9 inch printed hybrid swim shorts from Goodfellow and Co. He did not see a reason to have a drawstring closure behind a button up front. The striped pattern was cool and the black coloring will go with everything, which is a great addition to your wardrobe. These fit true to size, as he wears a size 40. These hybrid swim trunks are a size 33. I normally wear a 34 and these were a little small for me. So probably got as they should. They have a button and a drawstring, not sure why both. They are a little pricy for swim trunks. They have no inner line like traditional swim trunks. I would not wear these for swimming. I received an incentive to write this review. My 13 year old is wearing a size 30, his usual size. He is 5', 6" tall, average weight. These fit okay as far as the waist. The length of the legs was too short for what he likes on a daily basis.
