I am always skeptical about these "cooling" products because, in my head, how can it really make a difference with my body heat? I hate sleeping when I'm hot, and normally I have a fan on or the air on cool, regardless of weather. My old mattress topper is a foam thing that just sits on top of my mattress, and it can make my bed pretty warm. Well, when I got this cooling topper, I was surprised to see it came on a fitted sheet. So all I had to do was put it on like a normal sheet. Then I slept on it a few nights and I can literally feel the difference. My old pad did nothing to prevent me from getting warm, but with this, that problem is solved!! This is Amazing!! I had a hysterectomy and have other health problems. I’m a hot sleeper. This has made me sleep more comfortable and without waking up as much. As someone who has untrustworthy pets and needs a waterproof mattress cover on her bed at all times just in case, I was really happy to find such a high quality one with lots of other features. Before I’ve had multiple layers on my mattress, but having a cooling mattress pad that also provides waterproof protection is great.
