I love that it cleans for me all day, every day! I don't expect it to do the heavy-duty cleaning as a plug-in, hand-held, large capacity container vacuums. But it does basic everyday pick-up of dust and hair that I need it to do. It leaves beautiful patterns on my rug and for my hard floors I love that I can just do the mopping for the day and I'm done. I feel like vacuuming is more time consuming that mopping anyhow. I never really use the mop feature on this model because I can handle the mopping aspect of house cleaning. Plus I feel like the mop feature sometimes gets the rugs wets when it needs to pass by. Overall, I love this robot!

This is by far the best item I've owned recently. With a toddler and a cat this has saved my life greatly. From having a timer to mapping out my house. It picks up everything it does a thorough job! I would tell everyone to buy this.

I have never had a roomba before I received this one, so I didn't know what to expect... my socks are blown off! This little guy (I named him Crumb) vacuums my hard floors and picks up all kinds of dust and debris, all while avoiding the many obstacles and cords that are around my house. I am so impressed by the cleanliness and the detection. I had low expectations for Crumb to clean my dirty rug and carpet. After the first run on my rug, it looks like new again, I couldn't believe it. I have a medium haired cat and a dog, they both leave fur everywhere they go, but it's no match for the roomba. The first time I had him vacuum the carpet downstairs, he made carpet lines like a professional cleaner! On top of the fantastic vacuuming job this roomba does, it also mops! He's the perfect all in one little cleaner for your floors. He meticulously zigzags around where you tell him to mop in the app, and avoids where you set your "no mop zones", such as my living room rug. I think I might have the cleanest floors in town (and that's hard to do with a family of 4 and 2 pets) ! Crumb has been such a delightful addition to our household. It has been so nice to let him zip around my house and clean while I'm doing other chores...or just kicking up my feet.

This product is incredible. It self empties, can vacuum and mop, and you can custom choose where you want it to go and how you want it to clean. One con about this model is that you have to switch out the vacuum head for the mop head, whereas the j7's is already attached, but this is a minor inconvenience. It's very thorough as it cleans and takes more time where the floor seems dirtier but avoids pet messes. It isn't buggy and syncs well with the app, and I also use voice control through Alexa for commands as well. This is a great addition to our household and excellent at cleaning. I highly recommend it.

Let me start off by saying that I received this product for free to review. Before you stop reading, I am going to give my honest review as the proud owner of other robot vacuums. They all perform fine, they pick up dirt and debris, but a lot of the time they get caught up with different things that are stuck in them and I have spent a lot of time having to clean them out. This Roomba j5+ is completely different than any robot vacuum I have ever owned. I love the fact that I can control it from my phone and turn it on and off remotely. I like that it maps out my house and avoids obstacles like dog toys. It will clean specific rooms & not just roam around unless you want it to. It will also send a picture of the obstacles it encounters, so you can see what is under couches, and in different areas you probably weren't aware of. it does a great job of cleaning my floors, and when it's done, it returns to its base and all of the debris is sucked out of it and into a bag that you can easily empty. I think that is the best feature of the entire vacuum, it has very easy cleanup and is very easy to set up and use. It is pricey, but it's worth every penny. I would recommend this to all of my friends and highly suggest you purchase if you were in the market for a robot vacuum.
