The waffle iron itself is a nice piece. However: vendors that sell open box items should at least inspect their items before shipping them back out. The one I got had obviously been used to make waffles. Still dirty from use. That was okay but it had been dropped and the control panel was broken in 4 pieces. The packing materials were in the box but not put back on the product. This damage was not done from shipping. The 2 boxes, one original, one shipping, were undamaged at all. I contacted Tanga and they issued a refund. They are great to work with. It's ugly, but I was able to glue the pieces back together and put the heat adjuster back on. Had to take it apart to do so. Makes a great waffle and works okay so far. Great product, bad vendor.
