Sound reception is very clear. Working from home with the windows open, the microphone transmits only my voice, not the background noises coming from outside my window (like a motorcycle going by).

I use this headset at work for meetings and phone calls with Zoom and Cisco Jabber. The headset is very light, very comfortable for extended periods, and the mic and speaker quality is great. I had a different and cheaper Jabra headset (Evolve 40 Stereo) which I returned to buy this pro model and it really made a huge difference in comfort, weight, and audio quality. So in this case you really do get what you pay for.
