It took my son a few days to finish the dinosaur. He spent around 30 minutes each time. The instruction book is very detailed. The pieces are big so easy to figure out where the parts go. It can be a bit harder for kids on the younger side. The coding is my son favorite party. Making a video game is his next goal.

I strive to make my children remain children for as long as possible and with that you have to keep them busy. I love hands on activities to keep their brains fresh and their soul busy. This set makes a fun way to build something together and to make it work. The end goal is playing with it while using the controller.

This toy was a bit of a project to put together and it was awesome. My son and husband sat there and did it all together. Once together it’s such a fun toy. He has played with it daily. Definitely recommend it

To be fully honest, me and my daughter haven't put this together yet. We opened it up and went through the book and the parts and it looks very fun and manageable. As soon as she gets back from camp we plan on assembling Dino and stationing her to guard my daughter's room. I may update my review if necessary.

This is a very cute dinosaur project. The idea is great, but it did take more effort from adults than I would have liked. My testers were 7 and 8. They loved following directions and putting it together. They love legos and building and this was similar, but had a dinosaur at the end. We are still working on the 'code and control' part as well. It's more of a learning curve than I was anticipating.

This Dinosaur Robot TRex is a fun toy, my almost 9 year old is loving putting it together. The instructions are clear and she’s been able to complete a good portion without adult help. I do wish it came with a mini screwdriver, the screws are micro sized.
