This printer comes with everything you need to get started depending on how you plan to set it up. I needed a printer cord to hook mine up via the wireless network because my desktop computer doesn’t have Bluetooth, alternatively I could have used a laptop and bypassed the need for this. It was a temporary need, therefore, if you don’t have Bluetooth capabilities on your PC make sure you have a printer cord. You will also need a telephone line if you are hooking up the fax line. That said the instructions for this printer are straightforward and easy to understand. This printer came packaged extremely well. The instructions walk you through unpacking the machine and removing all of the tape. Then turning it on and configuring it. This was completely automated by the LCD touch screen on the printer. It was very easy to setup. Next, you install the ink cartridges. This was also simple with the guide right on the LCD screen and alternatively the instructions walk you through it just the same. Next, loading the paper was very easy, and I love that there are two trays. Next, you can connect the fax line. You must have your own telephone cord, this is also straightforward to setup. Finally, you install the software on the computer. The prompts were very easy, intuitive, and I had zero issues with setting up the software. Finally, you’re ready to print. You can print from a PC or phone. There are also options to have voice activated printing. It is very easy to print on the PC or phone using the Epson iPrint app, or just wirelessly. This printer works really well. It prints very fast and with very high-quality prints. This machine allows you to scan, copy, and fax. You can print double sided automatically. It also has a 50-sheet capacity for the ADF. All of these functions work really great. You can scan to multiple places including the network, email, computer, a memory device, the cloud or a WSD. For copying you can completely customize the print directly on the LCD screen. The quality of the prints is fantastic, the colors don’t run, and this machine prints them super-fast. I also like that the technology is heat-free because it doesn’t consume as much energy. The LCD screen on the printer makes using the printer so fast and easy and it folds out of the way when not in use. The machine itself is not huge, and it looks very nice as well. All in all, this is a really great printer. It’s easy to setup, use, it works well, it’s very intuitive, multi-functional, and it delivers high-quality reliable prints. Epson 4830 Out of all the printers I have had this one is by far the easiest to set up, out of the box I was printing in about 10 minutes with the wireless setup. It's also has USB, Ethernet and CD rom (included software) connectivity. This printer is definitely designed to handle high volume jobs, it has auto two-sided print and a 500 sheet capacity paper tray. I did have a few hiccups with paper jamming (easily and quickly fixed) but I think that was due to the paper not being loaded correctly be sure to thumb through your pages before you load them into the drawer. Scanning and faxing have worked flawlessly so far. It is very easily programmed and has a large memory. One of my favorite features is the large touch screen, the screen is very easy to navigate and understand. So far this printer has not disappointed I'm not sure how long the ink lasts as I have not had it very long but I'm sure it is just like any standard cartridge ink printer it will run out eventually hopefully more later than sooner. If you are looking for a printer that can easily handle small jobs and large that is very easy to program I would definitely recommend this one. I’ve had a few printers prior to owning this one. They were usually smaller and cheaper ink jet printers. They served their purpose well and did what they needed to. When I got this printer, there were several quality of life features that I didn’t even realize I needed until they there were. The ability to have multiple trays to house different kinds of paper (my wife is a crafter) and to be able to print from your phone have been amazing. The touch screen was also a pleasant additional feature that allows me to see and adjust settings directly from the printer. On the printer itself, it is very quiet when on and idle, where previous printers of mine make their presence known every now and again. The trays are easy to load and hold plenty of paper. The scanner scans in great quality and with ease. The ink cartridges are easy to get in and out with plenty of room for someone with larger hands. Setting up the printer itself was a breeze and didn’t cause any confusion or headaches. Copying is straightforward and easy. The only function I wasn’t able to test was the fax function, because I don’t fax anything or have a working phone line in the house. If you are looking for a quality printer for a home office or small business, I would highly recommend this! I bought this Epson printer a month ago and I am very happy I did. When I first received the printer, I immediately took the printer out the box and made sure I had all the parts. After, I started hooking the printer up, I connected all of my computers to the printer wifi which was very simple and easy. With the auto-2-sided printing , plus a 20 page auto document feeder the workforce WF-2830 offers efficient, reliable home office printing. Some of the features I like and enjoy is fast speeds, plus easy wireless connectivity printing from computers, IPAD s, and Itphones. The ink cartridges are affordable and feeds 100-sheet paper feed allowing you to reload paper less often. The WorkForce Pro WF -4830 is better than my office printer at work. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4830 Wireless All-in-one Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. -------------------- Unboxing and setting up the printer was really simple. I took the tape off, loaded up the paper, installed cartridges, and went through the setup process. Make sure you put the printer on a stable surface, it will shake its weight around while printing if you don't. It supports full-duplex (Double sided) printing and scanning so you don't have to babysit the printer. Print-head alignment was easy and fast. After setting up the printer I did a nozzel-check and V/H-print-head-alignment. It was easy and somewhat quick. Though, I do have an issue with it not being automated. You can get great print-results easily and eliminate human-error if you just scan in the pages and set the printer up that way. People are going to be setting up tons of these, just print a page and intruct them to place it in the ADF face-down and you'll make their lives easier (They can move onto the next printer quickly). I guess you could keep the manual mode in for people who don't trust a computer though. Networking is featureful and easy to setup. The printer supports Ethernet (100Mbps Full-Duplex and Energy Efficient Ethernet [802.3az), WiFi (2.4Ghz 802.11b/g/n and 5Ghz 802.11a/n/ac), and WiFi Direct (2.4Ghz or 5Ghz). It even supports static IPv4/6 addresses if you don't use DHCP-server and proxy settings can be setup directly on the printer. It doesn't appear to support RADIUS servers. Epson iPrint works with this printer. Scanning is limited to 300DPI with the app. You can't print borderless documents with the app, though you can print borderless photos on A4 paper. Presets are a timesaving feature. You can use them for scan and copy settings and you can make up to 12 of them. Presets can be added on the panel and edited through the web interface. The print speed and quality is good! It takes 20 seconds to print a 7-page document double-sided in draft mode. The text is very sharp and readable, but is grey (Normal mode prints sharp black text). It took a minute to print out high quality photos onto premium-gloss-photo-paper (With bidirectional turned off [The printhead will only drop ink when moving in one direction instead of both.] in settings). You have 2 paper-trays that hold 250 sheets each. The top tray is the only one that can hold photo-paper and envelopes. You can easily mix and match paper-sizes/types or just stick with one for 500-sheets total. You can extend out both paper trays to print Legal-size paper, The printer supports printing A4 paper borderless, so no annoying layout/offset problems should occur if you print templates to business cards, labels, checks, etc.. Scanning is easy. The ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) will scan in documents fast and flip them automatically to scan the other side. It works great for written text and diagrams on printer-paper in both pen and pencil. It works amazing for printed circuit-diagrams and technical documents due to scanning in A4 paper. The print bed will even scan large populated circuit-boards if you use protection for the glass so it doesn't scratch (I use a screen protector for a large tablet. I just don't adhere it to the glass). You can even scan in 4 small notebook pages in one pass. You can connect a hard-drive or flash drive to the printer and quickly scan different things with specific-settings to the drive. You can also use a FTP Server, SMB1/2/3 Server, email, computer (Printer supports WSD), or direct to a cloud-service with Epson Connect. You can scan up to 600DPI and can even save your scans in uncompressed and lossless TIFF format directly from the panel. Copying from the panel is easy (Even easier if you setup presets). There are options to remove shadows from books and remove punch-holes from pages (Punch-hole removal and shadow removal doesn't work from the ADF. Only the print-bed). If you copy IDs often, there's even a specific setting for those. The panel is easy to use and quick to learn. You can access all of the printer's features from it easily. If you're worried about wasting printer ink and paper, don't worry, you can view your network settings, number of pages printed, and supply status directly on the screen without needing to print anything out. The web interface allows you to access and change all the settings on the printer without being in front of it as well as check the status of everything. If you need to, you can replace the SSL certificate with your own trusted one. The printer defaults to forcing and redirecting to https for better security. You can lock the touchscreen panel and restrict features here so that the printer can't be tampered with.
