I am so impressed with this stool! It looks so expensive with the destressing detail and beautiful stain color of it. The stool has a solid weight to it and was so easy to put together. I put this together with the help of my husband holding the pieces in place under 10 minutes. It is very sturdy and has held up to daily use with no wobbles - I am a tad short so I had to use it to get to something on the top shelf of my cabinets and I felt so safe standing on it. It is the perfect height for my young son to sit on it at the counter while we bake together. I appreciate the pads that came on the bottom of the legs to prevent scratching or denting up the floors as well. All around, this is a great looking stool that does what you need it to do. I highly recommend it. I did receive this item for free in exchange for a review. That said, I would still be so impressed and happy with this stool. It is so beautiful and looks like something you would get from home decor only stores for so much more.

I love this stool. I needed a stool to sit at a small nook desk and this fit the bill. It is the perfect height for my needs. The color is perfect in my space. It is a beautiful warm tone in a room full of white linens and some earth tone wood elements. Very comfy and calm like. Comes together beautifully and is really sturdy with no wobbles. Had no knicks or flaws. Really impressed with the quality of the stool.

This counter stool needs to be assembled but the directions were easy to follow. The images on the instruction pages are large and detailed which is helpful, especially for a novice. And everything required, including an Allen wrench, was inside the box. The instructions also provide a toll-free number in case anything is missing, damaged or you just need assistance. The stool pieces are made from real wood, not veneer or fiberboard, which is a huge benefit. The wood pieces and hardware were so well protected that it actually took me longer to remove the parts from the packaging than it did to put the stool together! It's an attractive counter stool, with a good sized, slightly curved seat to fit just about any body type. It's on the heavy side (then again, so am I) and it doesn't make me feel like it'll collapse or fall apart. It's designed for counter use but I'm partially disabled and unable to stand for longer than 15 - 20 minutes so I plan to use the stool in the kitchen when making something that involves lots of food preparation. I'm impressed with the quality and durablity, which tells me it should last a long time. That may not be a perk for Target or the Halifax company but it's definitely a good thing for consumers!

I absolutely LOVE this stool! It's very sturdy and it's big enough for everyone (adults and kids). It's the perfect height as well and we all take turns using it! The color of the wood is beautiful, very rich and elegant.

I am so happy with this purchase. These rustic loooking stools are sturdy & very easy to assemble. After I ordered three of these online, I noticed they went on sale a few days later. I contacted Target Customer Service to inquire about price matching & they happily credited my account for the difference. I love these beautiful stools even more now !
