The fabric and color of this velvet pant is beautiful making it appear to be a much more expensive trouser than what it is priced. I purchased these for my husband who usually wears a 36/38 pant. He loves them but had to size up 2 sizes to a 42 as they run really small in the waist.

Definitely tighter than I expected. I’m typically a 30 waist and the 30 in these fit more like a 28. Otherwise they look and feel pretty high quality.

Didn't check the other reviews before ordering, just saw 4 stars overall and assumed they'd be fine... ordered these for my husband in his normal size, which he never has issues with from Target brands in pants, and he can't even get them zipped all the way. And of course he is really tall so his inseam size in two waist sizes higher is always sold out, so we can't even exchange them. He really likes them otherwise so he's really disappointed.
