Is what it looks like - a nylon strap attached to a seat belt clip - the other end clips onto your dog's harness - NOT the collar. Unlike other reviewers, I had no problem clipping this straight into my Prius safety belt attachment/end. Haven't had the need (thankfully) to test how strong, but looks secure enough to hold my 17b terrier just fine. The metal end seems thin but can't see it not holding. Overall extra protection when my 4-legged kid likes to sit on the center arm rest.

Great. Must be used with a harnes. This belt attaches to harnes and then into seat belt. Glad it keeps my dog in place.
