To anyone who has read the one star review from the person who has no idea how to use a tooth brush. Just skip that review. Is it expensive? Oh yeah. Is it perfect? No. Is it worth the money? Absolutely. It is perfect for all. It is incredibly efficient. You will never have a better feeling mouth. It does tend to get dirty(from toothpaste). Battery is amazing. You will never regret this purchase. Morale of the story? Don't drop glass in the bathroom. You'll love this tooth brush.

There`s no question that the Philips DiamondClean Smart is the most technologically advanced toothbrush on the market. Phillips provided me with a free sample of the HX9957 model to test drive for this review, and I could not be happier with the performance. The first thing that I noticed when taking the brush out of the box is how solid the unit is constructed as well as the sharp matte finish of the handle and corresponding brush heads. To put it simply: this toothbrush is loaded with features - actually, so many that I don`t think that I will end up utilizing them all. I`m a particular fan of the different brush modes and intensities that can be selected to use with the corresponding brush heads. The brush heads themselves give you an incredible amount of flexibility and control, with options for plaque control, gum care, or whitening as well as an additional `tongue care` brush to use for fresh breath. Setup of the brush is a breeze, and you have the option to mess around with the configuration of the handle and brush heads if needed. It seems like a simple concept, but I was especially impressed with what is essentially a `wireless` charging mechanism with the Glass Charger - you simply place the handle inside of the glass, and the handle charges without any additional prompting. I think it`s neat that features that we are seeing with cellphones are making their way over to other handheld electronics and it`s certainly a cool use here. I didn't get to play around with the Philips Sonicare App that long, but I`m honestly not sure how much I would use it. The brush/handle works perfectly without it, but I suppose that it would be cool for someone that wanted/needed a bit more data on their brush sessions. Overall, I was very impressed with this product and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to gain a bit more technological edge to their oral health.

So I've been using this brush for just a couple days, and already I can tell a difference. I've owned several different brushes from Philips are varying levels/price points and I was never really convinced that I needed a toothbrush that was smart. I've told friends and family since how amazing this brush is and really can't believe that a toothbrush can give you that just out of the dentists clean feeling. I love the fact that it includes a travel case that also acts as a charger, I'm on the road all the time, and it makes a big difference not to have to carry the cup/stand. The included tongue brush makes your mouth feel so much clean and your breath fresh. Instantly clean feeling. While I was provided a product free for writing a review of this toothbrush - I strongly recommend this be your next brush. It might be a little more expensive but worth every penny.

This is by far the best toothbrush I've ever used and until I bought my 1st Phillips electric toothbrush I'd bought a lot. Phillips provided me with this one free so they could get real honest and true feedback. I'm so glad they did. First of all, the look and feel is awesome. It's almost too nice to call a toothbrush. There are 7 brush heads that come with the handle designed for specific areas of concern: controlling plaque, whitening, and gum care. But wait, there is also a tongue care cleaner! I've used the plaque brush and tongue cleaner so far and I'm not kidding when I say my teeth have never felt so clean. However, here is the best part....there is an app to dnload that teaches how to clean better and follow brushing routines! As I brushed for the 1st time the app followed along and when I was done it told me where to brush longer next time! I've just started with the app so more to explore there. Overall, you will not be disappointed. I never thought there was much more to brushing but this product helps You get and maintain a healthy mouth and smile which is most important.

I am one of the lucky ones that got to try this product for free. Compared to my previous Diamond Clean toothbrush, this one is more efficient and has a better design to it. I like that now there are two buttons and I can set a permanent mode with one, and turn it on an off with the other one. The new toothbrush head has a better design as well. This is definitely a huge investment. I see it as having a Blendtec. It is pricey, but if you want the best results you should not comprise.
