Works well so far just wish the control panel was a little bigger or backlit.... Additionally I'm amused by the reviewers that complain about the child lock.... READ THE MANUAL OR THE BIG STICKER ON THE TOP OF THE OVEN... YOU CAN DEACTIVATE IT IN 3 SECONDS!!!

Very nice color. Love how it looks in my kitchen and works great. Although the button to open door is a bit hard to push.

Nice microwave. Im pleased with it other than the fact you have to press the unlock button before the door will open. That is kind of annoying but other than that, I love it.

My 20 year-old Panasonic inverter microwave finally quit working. This Cuisinart was about the same size and power so I gave it shot. I like it. The settings have a bit of a learning curve but not too bad. And depending on your lighting conditions, the keyboard can be hard to read. I do like all the heating options. So far, I defrosted pork chops and ground beef and it did well with both. I do miss having a handle on the door, I just don't see this push button release holding up over a really long period of time. Hopefully I'm wrong. So far I'm happy with it.

It's small enough to fit where I wanted it, it's attractive, it's reasonably quiet, very nice display, and it seems to work fine in the short time i have tested it. So far, so good. There are some caveats, however. This model is not listed anywhere that I can find except on Target's website. What I actually received is not "really" a Cuisinart with a 3 year warranty, but a Midea made Chinese model with a 1 year warranty, although it says Cuisinart. It's probably made for Target by Midea. The power is rated in the manual and on the box as 1100W, not 1000W as on the Target website, which is good. The specifications in the manual are not even close to reality. The power consumption is 1645W at full power, not 1250W. There is no FCC label or anything else I can find on the unit. This thing is a WiFi killer. Expect your WiFi to go down while this is in use. Not sure why any microwave would leak enough energy to kill all the WiFi in a home, but a lot of them do. I suspect that if you ever need service on this appliance, you might as well wave a magic wand. For the price, if it lasts a year or two, that might be all a person can expect. Sure looks nice in the kitchen, though!

Our microwave broke the day before, so I had to scramble to find a replacement. This was on sale and was a good size (smaller than the one that broke. Tried it out, and heated a cup of water and a few other items from the fridge. I hope this lasts as long as our previoius microwave (14 years). I have not tried all the features but I really like that you can just press one button for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 minute heating. Shout out to the Target staff in Serramonte (Araceli), she went out of her way to get the item from the stockroom when I could not find it on the shelves.
