From this brand I got the snorlax, pikachu & the charmander & all of them have poor stitching! They got holes very easily & I’ve had to sew them. Very poor quality for $30!

Pikachu is everything you want in a pillow buddy (soft, plush, squishy) EXCEPT durable. If you have a docile child that will be happy keeping Pikachu sitting solely on their bed or snuggling with it in soft, gentle touches, then by all means, purchase this pillow buddy. However, if you have a sensory seeking child like mine that will want to hug, squish, throw, body slam, and spin in circles while holding Pikachu by the tail (how could you NOT want to do that?!?) then buyer be warned. By day 2, there were dime sized holes by the tail and neck. Within 8 days, there was a huge gash across the back. I know how to do some sewing, and my brother is a surgeon at Johns Hopkins, but this kind of material (which was chosen to make Pikachu an irresistible snuggle buddy) is not easily repairable. I am convinced that no amount of surgical training can save this pet. Now I am left picking up Pika's entrails from around the house, pondering if the steep purchase price was really worth the fun. My kids love it, but I'm not sure how much longer till Pika ends up in the landfill, a pile of fluff and ravaged carnage.
