My son is OBSSESSED with trains currently and HAD to have this set. While I tend to cave it was hard for me to do it with this set. I just feel the $44.00 (in store price) was a bit steep. These are not the trains that talk to each other, in fact its 2 motorized ones that do not include batteries and the rest are push along. I just dont feel the price is right on this set. However, my son has played with them constantly and even brings them to bed. The quality is well made as well.

Positives: the pull along trains are adorable. I love the farm animal designs. The wheels have the perfect grip on the train tracks. They are heavier in weight and are good quality! Cons: I bought the set for the motorized train thinking it would be fun. Naturally one would use this with the Thomas train tracks and accessories but it wasn’t designed with any of the tracks or accessories in mind. The motorized train is too tall and doesn’t fit through anything at all. It also can’t drive up ramps so it’s pretty much useless. I got this on sale for $19.99 otherwise I would have returned it.
