[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This needs to move a lot of air to work. This is too small to cool a room in my house. I do like the idea though, I just need it on a much larger scale. I am always running around with a fan in the summer and this isn't portable enough to work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perhaps I tried this in a space that was too big or too hot but I did not seem to have the desired effect of cooling effectively. I think the idea is nice and the size is good as well but it was far from arctic air coming out of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try the Arctic Air Pure Chill 2.0 - unfortunately it did not meet expectations. When I was ready to use the Arctic Air I took the filter - wet it then froze it. Once frozen I inserted back in machine, added water and ice cubes and turned it on. First of all it was very loud, louder than expected, didn't cool room down very well and worst of all it leaked all over my desk and made a complete mess! Not using this again!

I think this item is great for a small out door tent.

I do not recommend this product simply because it does not do what it is supposed to do which is blow cold air....even at the highest setting you won't feel it if you're an arm away. The design is neat and lights are cool but I guess that's the only thing that's cool . I returned this immediately the next day.

I was suprised at howloud this thing is. Changing out and freezing the catridege is cumbersome. Even on turbo i wouldnt call the air "Artic" lol.

Water leakes out so you have to set unit on a plate or bowl. Not worth what it cost!!

I wouldn't say that this cools air by any means, unless you actually freeze one of the compartments that it tells you you can and if you put ice cubes in it then yeah I would say it works better. I could see this being nice if you're camping or in one very small room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited for this fan. Unfortunately, it let me down. The air was cool at first then it just stopped cooling. It's not too noisy, but it isn't as quiet as I'd liked either. I don't find this to be any different than a standard, cheaper fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was going to be great for keeping an upstairs room cool as it is over the garage and the hottest room in the house. However, I was sadly mistaken. The Artic Air Tower requires you to put water in a tank that I could not remove from the unit itself, so that was a pain. It also has a "freeze pack" that you fill with water, put in the freezer, then once frozen, put in the tank BEFORE you add the water. All of that was a bit much IMHO. The Artic Air Tower also recommends it works best when placed on a table or countertop. While I understand the premise of this as heat rises up so it will cool better if higher up, there is no way I am putting something that is plugged in to an electrical outlet that contains water on a table or otherwise. Overall, it didn't cool well and was quite the pain. I found using a dehumidifier worked better.
